when referring to existing TV magazines we found a variation in styles for example 'Whats on TV' features lots of bright colors and tacky buttons witch as much as they can cram on the front of what to expect inside there magazine, where as 'TV&Satellite' is a much more classy style of magazine with color codes which in this case is yellow, white and red as well as minimal images and smaller text and almost stricter fonts, so when creating our own Ancillary we had to make a decision as to which style would best suit our Soap, we decided to make a classier magazine such as 'TV&Satellite' as the parody we was referring to are from wealth therefor this fitted in better, now we had a basis to work from and could follow the conventions of this style of magazine.
