Evaluation 3 - Audience feed back

i created a mood board for the typical TOWIE audience profile, the results of the mood board showed on average the typical TOWIE viewer was 16-25 years of age and was glamerous, lives a celebrity lifestyle, was in touch with fashion, lived the partying life style and spent alot of there time grooming themselfs and getting the top new car or phone.
we used the mood board as a idial for the props, costumes and even inturprited our findings into the script.

the first hand feedback we recived goes as follows:

criticism from viewer:

1st draft: "some of the clips need to be shorter, it doesnt seem to flow as well as it could"
comment: i have also noticed the flow wasnt as good as it could be, but i couldnt put my finger on the problem, i will make sure to shorten the clips so i can fit in more scenes and make it fast and snappy.

final draft: "the music is to high at some points, and is hard to hear what is being said"
comment: i didnt notice this, so will make sure to improve the music volume in those certain areas.

positivity from viewer:

"its so funny"
"i love the song you have played over it, it fits in so well"
"i like how you have made chracteristics for them all, like fred always says 'reem' its funny"
"because they all have quirks, its like i already know them"

Final Billboard Ancillary

As you can see we put Fred Perry in the middle as he is the main character or protagonist in the parody. We wanted his costume to create a false identity and therefore we made him wear short shorts, a snazzy t-shirt and a checkered shirt which all seem to look branded. This all helps him seem more higher in the hierarchy then he actually might be. We used plenty of fake tan as most people in Essex have a passion to seem more orange as it apparently makes them seem 'sexier.' However, out of everybody Fred Perry seems to be the wealthiest and have the most amount of popularity.

To his left is Hugo. Hugo always aims to impress and he is the responsible out of the lot. However, as you can see we wanted him to seem as if he knows how to have a good time. We had Hugo wear a blazer purely to make him seem smart. However, this is overthrown by his facial expressions. Yet again, plenty of fake tan is used to imply how he has to be perfect.

At the end is Louis, he is the one who never seems to talk however he seems to be the one who can actually dress himself. He is the one who gives everyone their sense of style. Louis is the 'fashion queen.' His top-buttoned checkered shirt and chinos portrays how everything has to perfect and neat.

On the very right is Toi, she has the biggest attitude which is highlighted by her stance. Her 'bitchy pose' implies how she is trying to attract attention. Also, it insinuates how she feels everybody else is beneath her. Furthermore, her leopard coat is suggesting how she fierce, feisty and wild.

Uggie being in the middle with her hands on her hips suggests how she is extremely confident and likes to think of herself as a leader. The black clothing portrays how she is very shady as if she has a secret to hide maybe she is evil. Her facial expressions convey how she is a very loud character furthermore her posture suggests a upfront personality, that she isn't afraid to speak her mind.

Finally, Chanel wearing pink lipstick might insinuate how she thinks of herself to be a princess moreover, the way she is postured portrays how she is full of her self yet, she wears a lot of make-up on her face which if close attention is payed is different colour from her body highlighting how she is dressing to impress.

Final Magazine Ancillary

as you can see we made alterations to the masthead by making it yellow it stands out more, also we have shifted the bar code to the right hand side, but a box around 'exclusive' and changed the color of 'Bamford' and 'George street' to red, i think all these alterations have made it much more effective, by adding a box around 'exclusive' it has made it stand out and is no longer lost in the background scenery this also applies to the alterations made to the text our features, previously the yellow was hard to see due to the yellow bar therefor was made more visible from the changes. i'm happy with the outcome of our magazine as it captures the rivalry between the two stars and it anchors 'Fred' as stuck in the middle, as well with the red color code resembling both love for 'Fred' and hate for the opponent in his love affair.

Billboard Ancillary - Draft 1

This is the draft of our billboard. First we learnt the basic tools on photoshop and then cropped the characters off the green screen. We had to choose the appropriate pictures and then put the three characters in close proximity to make it seem as if it is one picture. We used our title from the banner we made and put in on to this billboard and changed the colours since the the whole billboard is black and white.
